Recently, there have been many versions of the occupants' counteroffensive. Some experts believe that it has already begun and failed. However, there is a version that they are still gathering forces. In particular, they accumulate aviation near the border with Ukraine.
Military expert, instructor pilot and reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Svitan noted that such a number of aircraft and helicopters located on the border with our country were accumulated by the Russians during the year. He toldChannel 24 about this. According to him, this number has not increased, but is even decreasing in some positions and now consists of about 700 sides.
The geography of the front will expand
The Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized that our military forces knock out a lot of enemy planes and helicopters.
No new air pull-up has taken place. The invaders use more than 400 airfields to disperse aviation to a depth of 500 kilometers from the front line and the border with Ukraine,” he stressed.
In his opinion, it makes no sense to place aircraft closer, because they can fly up to a certain distance, if there is such a task.
“Definitely there will be no air waves. But the number of aircraft sorties to the front line will be increased depending on the expansion of its geography. And there will definitely be an expansion,” the instructor pilot says.

There will be an increase in offensive operations
According to him, the enemy has been testing our defenses since the beginning of the year.
This can be called the beginning of the offensive, because reconnaissance in force is the intention to attack. There will be an increase in offensive operations with the expansion of the front, – said Svitan.
He stressed that part of the Kharkov front will join – the left bank of the Oskol, Kupyansk, Liman. The Zaporizhia direction will also join, and this will bring up any offensive actions with the participation of front-line aviation – Su-24, Su-25, which are very good at shooting down our troops.
“The general wave of the offensive will take place by the end of the month. Now the Russians have accumulated a certain resource and units are still coming in. And aviation will also increase. But the large-scale aviation component will not be used,” summed up Roman Svitan.
