Russian infidels continue active hostilities against Ukraine and try to completely occupy the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Taking advantage of the hot phase of the war, the enemy is trying to undermine the morale of Ukrainians due to fakes and various “stuffing” supposedly from the front.
The information war continues
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Security and Defense Council reminded Ukrainians of the importance of observing the rules of information hygiene. The enemy is doing everything possible to undermine the morale and fighting spirit of our nation, so he does not get tired of creating fakes and spreading them on social networks.
Every day, Russians generate dozens of fakes about the surrender of our defenders, initiative surrender of their positions and unwillingness to fight for their native land, the message says.
What rules Ukrainians need to follow: advice from the General Staff
Our defenders and defenders urge Ukrainians to be vigilant and not play into the hands of the enemy. In order not to help the Russians on the information front, you should adhere to the following rules:
- mandatory verification of information through official departments;
- you cannot disseminate information about events at the front from “personal sources “;
- one cannot publicly discuss military operations, logistics, the situation at the front, etc. Only the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the top leadership of the state have all the information and can make some forecasts;
- only official sources should be trusted.
Ukrainians are reminded that the demoralization of our defenders and defenders, as well as panic among the civilian population – these are the tasks that the enemy is trying to in the information field.
