Suspicion of embezzlement of state funds/Prosecutor General's Office
The former head of the State Reserve Agency was informed of a suspicion of a crime. He could spend 9.5 million hryvnia for his own purposes.
If the guilt of the ex-official is proved, he will face 2 to 5 years in prison. This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General on April 23.
According to the investigation, the ex-head of the State Reserve of Ukraine in 2017 unreasonably used more than 9.5 million hryvnia of budget funds.
He sent the money to payment and delivery to the state reserve of overtime tons of lubricating oil. Although there was no permission to finance fuel.
Currently, law enforcement officers conducted searches at the place of residence of the suspect. They decide the issue of choosing a preventive measure.
