Margarita Vasilieva, a resident of Kharkov, did not believe that a war would begin. She lived on Saltovka when the first explosions were heard on February 24.
On the first day of the war, Margarita woke up at four o'clock from an incomprehensible noise, as if someone were launching fireworks at night. She spoke about this as part of the SVOI project on channel 24.
How the war in Kharkov began
According to Margarita, after of the first explosions, a chaotic light began to turn on in the windows of the house, noise appeared on the street. The first “arrivals” were very well heard by the woman, because those first battles, the first tanks were 10 meters before entering the nearest private house.
I quickly ran to my husband, started to wake him up, because he did not hear. We turned on the news, but there was nothing concrete at that time. Even earlier, we discussed what we would do, packed our bags. But there was such a panic. They just asked: “God, what to do ?!” – said Margarita.

In Kharkiv, on September 17, a fire broke out at an enterprise after it was fired upon by Russian invaders. As it turned out, the Russians launched missiles from the S-300 air defense system at the Industrial District of the city.
Also, the infidels once again launched a missile attack on Chuguev in the Kharkiv region. Unfortunately, an 11-year-old girl died.
By the way, President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had liberated almost the entire territory of the Kharkiv region from Russian invaders.
