This was stated by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during a joint press conference with President Volodymyr Zelensky, Channel 24 reports. It arrived in Kyiv on February 24.

During Morawiecki's visit to Kiev, the first 4 Polish Leopard tanks were handed over to Ukraine.

According to him, soon Warsaw will again transfer tanks to Ukraine. We are talking about 60 modernized tanks PT-91.
“We are able to transfer tanks quickly,” Morawiecki said.
He added that Polish instructors are very impressed with how quickly Ukrainian tankers learn.
While Warsaw is convincing partners from The EU and NATO to also transfer Leopard 2 to Ukraine. The Polish prime minister presented Zelensky with a symbolic confirmation of the transfer of tanks, noting that his country was successfully building a “coalition of several countries” that would transfer these vehicles to Ukraine.
Important!Morawiecki also noted that Poland is ready to host training for Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets. However, such a decision should be agreed “in a wider coalition”.
Zelensky confirmed the provision of tanks
Zelensky also said that Ukraine received the first Polish Leopards.

He noted the importance of transferring the first Leopards to Ukraine from Poland and noted that they would strengthen the defense of our country.
According to the head of state, Warsaw is one of the founders of the tank coalition for Ukraine.
” We will do everything to make this new morning start a powerful movement. Thanks to all our partners who have already joined or will join,” Zelensky said.
Which tank will become the base for the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Minister defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov recently stated that it is the German Leopard 2 that will become the base tank for the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

He added that time will tell which aircraft will become the base in Ukraine. As of February 2023, our heroes are ready to train with:
