The evacuation of Ukrainians has begun from the Gaza Strip and the first group of Ukrainian citizens have already been released through the checkpoint with Egypt.

As the Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Yevgeny Korniychuk told Suspilny, as of November 7, 101 citizens of Ukraine received permission to evacuate from the Gaza Strip.
“We received the first permission; we’ll see how many people actually get through in the evening,” Korniychuk said.
According to him, employees of the Ukrainian Embassy are already waiting on the border with Egypt and Gaza.
Evacuation from the Gaza Strip
On the morning of November 7, Ambassador Korniychuk reported that the first stage of the evacuation of Ukrainians from the Gaza Strip should take place on Tuesday.
The Rafah checkpoint between the Gaza Strip and Egypt, through which foreigners are evacuated, began operating on November 1. In addition to foreigners, Palestinians with international passports are also allowed through it.
