The first frosts have already been recorded in the North of Ukraine. We are talking about 1 – 2 degrees of frost at a height of 2 centimeters from the ground.
The relevant information was reported by the deputy head of the meteorological forecast department of the Ukrhydrometcentre Natalia Golenya. A cold snap was recorded on the night of September 2.
The first frosts were already in Ukraine
This night (they say on the night of September 2 – channel 24), weak-weak frosts were already observed on the soil, that is, at a height of 2 centimeters, minus 1 – 2 degrees. This is in the north of Ukraine, along the northern border, – said Natalia Golenya.
The Deputy Head of the Department of Meteorological Forecasts of the Ukrhydrometeorological Center predicted that:
- slight frosts on the soil are possible on the night of September 3 in the north of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions;
- there will be 1 – 2 degrees Celsius;
- then cloudiness and nighttime temperatures will be higher from the southwest.
