The first professional lifeguards from the USA, Australia and Germany. They expressed a desire to help their Ukrainian colleagues.
They were met by Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrsky.
The first foreign rescue teams arrived in Ukraine
11 professional rescuers from the USA, Australia and Germany expressed their desire to come to Ukraine on a volunteer basis and help their Ukrainian colleagues. Subsequently, another Polish representative will join them.
Now foreign specialists will work in Borodyanka – they will be attached to the dismantling of rubble and the release of buildings.
All forces accumulated in order to quickly make the previously occupied territories suitable and safe for life. We have a lot of work, and this help is very significant for us,” said Denis Monastyrsky.
He also noted the importance of support and thanked foreign rescuers for their courage, courage and desire to help Ukraine.
