The final decision regarding the participation of Ukrainian athletes in the Olympic Games in Paris has not yet been made.
The President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, the Minister of Youth and Sports announced this on air of the national telethon Unified News Vadim Gutzeit.
“There is no final decision whether we will participate in the Olympics or not, as we are waiting for a response from the International Olympic Committee,” he said.
According to his minister, Ukraine is currently participating in international licensing competitions, and has now received 32 licenses for the 2024 Olympics.

It was previously reported that Ukraine is ready to participate in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, even if so-called neutral athletes from the Russian Federation and Belarus will be present at the competition.
Earlier this year, the Ministry of Youth and Sports admitted that Ukraine could boycott the 2024 Olympic Games if athletes take part in them from the Russian Federation and Belarus even under a “neutral” flag.
