Ukrainian journalists visited the Russian Sudzha. This city is among dozens of settlements in Russia controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A small part of the population remains there now, to whom the Armed Forces of Ukraine delivered humanitarian aid. TSN journalists also talked to people abandoned to their fate by the Kremlin.

The people of Sudzha believe that Putin simply does not know about the situation in Kursk region

A historic moment was caught on camera – the Armed Forces of Ukraine removed the Russian tricolor from one of the administrative buildings in Sudzha. There is a lot of burnt Russian equipment in the city. It was destroyed right on the way to the Ukrainian border.

The destruction in Sudzha itself is not too severe. However, the city continues to suffer from air strikes by Russian troops on their own citizens.

People who remained in the village have been sitting in basements for a week now. There are more than a hundred of them there, including children. They complain that they are critically short of food.

However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already taken care of them – they brought them humanitarian aid: water, food, hygiene products, medicine.

Thank you, guys, at least you are not abandoning us, – says one of the residents of Sudzha.

The people of Sudzha also complain about the Russian authorities: they say no one informed them about the evacuation at all. “They just all left. They just packed up and left,” people add.

At the same time, they believe that their president Vladimir Putin simply doesn't know what the situation in the city really is.
