The EU Council imposed new sanctions against six individuals and five organizations involved in Iran's development and production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) used in Russia's war against Ukraine.
This is reported in the press release of the EU Council.
In particular, the following were subject to new restrictive measures:

- Shakad Sanat Asmari, its CEO, Deputy CEO and Chief Scientist;
- Baharestan Kish Company and its Managing Director;
- Saad Sazeh Faraz Sharif and its CEO;
- Sarmad Electronic Sepahan Company, offering aerospace engineering services;
- companies helping Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force improve its UAV program (Kimia Part Sivan Company).
These individuals and legal entities will have their assets frozen and banned from entering the EU. Also taboo is the provision of funds or economic resources, directly or indirectly, to individuals, legal entities, organizations, bodies specified in the list or for their benefit.
Recall that on October 19 The United States imposed sanctions against an Iranian company that produced components for drones used by Russia in the war against Ukraine.
