The European Union imposed sanctions against Iran for supporting the Russian Federation in the war against Ukraine

The EU Council imposed new sanctions against six individuals and five organizations involved in Iran's development and production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) used in Russia's war against Ukraine.

This is reported in the press release of the EU Council.

  • companies helping Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force improve its UAV program (Kimia Part Sivan Company).

These individuals and legal entities will have their assets frozen and banned from entering the EU. Also taboo is the provision of funds or economic resources, directly or indirectly, to individuals, legal entities, organizations, bodies specified in the list or for their benefit.
