The European Commission on Wednesday released 10 billion euros for Hungary that had been frozen due to rule of law concerns. President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola expressed her opinion on the decision of the European Commission adopted the day before.

She noted the agreement on the budget for 2024, but drew attention to the insufficient amount of resources and noted that they will continue to talk about the next framework until 2027. In particular, they will say that it is difficult to distribute funds in their budget and therefore they are faced with unpleasant situations.
