A European Union mission will travel to Kyiv next week to discuss proposals for Ukraine's security obligations.
This was stated by the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, during a joint briefing with the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba in Brussels.
— We have made progress on the issue of obligations to ensure the security of Ukraine. The council approved the structure. We started discussing this. “Next week, the Deputy Secretary General for Security and Defense will travel to Kyiv so that I have the opportunity to present to the EU Council before the end of the year,” Borrell said.
According to him, at the last EU Council, Borrell received a task from European leaders to develop the EU's security obligations to Ukraine. He shared that work is currently underway on this with EU member states.
