The EU plans to confiscate Russian assets in case sanctions are circumvented

The European Union is preparing a directive that will allow the confiscation of arrested Russian assets by court order. This is reported by RTBF.

The European Commissioner declined to name these five countries. However, as the media write, numerous Russian assets have recently been blocked in Germany. It was also reported that in Munich the court decided to confiscate the property of a Russian State Duma deputy.
