The Council of the European Union has made a final decision to amend the multi-year budget and create a €50 billion aid fund for Ukraine.
€50 billion to Ukraine from the EU
Prime Minister Denis Shmygal announced that the European Union has finally approved a four-year support program worth €50 billion.
— This is a Ukraine Facility tool that will help the government finance the budget deficit, increase investment in the economy, accelerate our membership in the EU, — the message says.
According to Shmygal, the Ukrainian government expects the first funds from the European Union in March 2024.
