Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that the new package of almost $61 billion in military aid for Ukraine, approved by the US Congress, is amazing news, but it is not enough for a final victory over the Russian Federation.

The West should realize that the era of peace in Europe is over and it is necessary to increase its own defense production.

— Not a single package can stop the Russians. What will stop them is a united front of all of Ukraine and all its partners, — indicated by the Ukrainian diplomat.

He noticed that in terms of the number of ammunition, Russia outnumbers Ukraine by a ratio of about 10 to 1.

—When I see what Russia has achieved in building up its defense industrial base during two years of war and what the West has achieved, I think that something is wrong on the West’s part, — Kuleba said.

US Aid to Ukraine

On April 24, the US Senate supported a bill on the transfer of assistance to Ukraine in the amount of over $60 billion.

President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked American allies, expressing hope that Ukrainian soldiers will feel the benefits of this vote in the coming days.

And in Moscow they threatened to intensify attacks on the logistics centers of Ukraine, where weapons from Western partners could be stored.
