Admiral Rob Bauer, head of the Military Committee, said that the era of world order is over. Now we must be prepared for anything.

According to Bauer, extremely troubling times have come for the world. We must accept this and learn to live with it.

The Chairman of the Military Committee noted that in order to counter large-scale threats, the world must involve the entire society. We cannot be limited by standard war plans from staff leadership.

We need public and private actors to change their thinking from the era when everything could be planned , anticipate, control and focus on efficiency, to an era where anything can happen at any moment. An era when we should expect the unexpected, the message says.

The approach to aid to Ukraine should change dramatically

In addition, Bauer called for a radical change in the approach to assistance to Ukraine. Russia is not afraid of NATO, but of democracy in general. If Ukrainians have democratic rights, there is a chance that people in Russia will also want them.

By the way, Bild previously reported that NATO is preparing for war with Russia. This is evidenced by secret documents at the disposal of the publication. The Institute for the Study of War noted that it is normal to consider different scenarios. Especially in the context of exercises.
