Russia planned that the war against Ukraine would continue for several days. But Ukraine resisted the onslaught of the enemy. And now the Russians are forced to form defensive fortifications, fearing an attack by the Ukrainians.
On the first day of the war, Russian propagandists happily reported that in a matter of hours the Russian army had almost completely destroyed the defense capability of Ukraine. It was about air defense systems, aviation and navy. True, after that, information appeared several times that the Ukrainian aviation was completely destroyed, and that the Ukrainians no longer had Bayraktar drones. But every day the Ukrainian side inflicts more and more losses on the Russian invaders.
The Russians suffer losses not only on land or air, but also at sea. And on May 9, Ukrainian defenders sank 12 ships and boats of the enemy.
This forces the Russian leadership to build defenses even where they consider their territory. These are the temporarily occupied Crimea and Sevastopol.
When the Ukrainians sank several Russian boats in several attacks, and also knocked out large ships, the infidels decided to tighten the security of Sevastopol. The entrance to the Sevastopol Bay, which is the main base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, is covered from the sea by several ships. Losses of ships by Russians in the war against Ukraine

Due to the impact, a considerable fire broke out on board the ship. On April 14, the ship sank. How many Russian sailors died is unknown. The occupying authorities carefully conceal their losses.
There was also information about a missile attack on the Admiral Makarov frigate. However, it was not confirmed.
In general, the territory near the Zmeiny Island can already become a real cemetery for Russian ships. It was near this island that “Moscow” was hit. In the same place, several enemy military boats were sent to the bottom. We are talking about assault boats of the Raptor type or a landing boat of the Chamois type.
