During the day, from March 2 to March 3, Russian troops used chemical munitions nine times, dropping them from drones on the battlefield in the Tauride direction.
The commander of the operational-strategic group of troops of Tavria, Alexander Tarnavsky, spoke about this in his Telegram channel.
– “Let me remind you, this is a violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention,” he wrote.
Tarnavsky also added that the situation remains difficult, but controlled. In particular, near Avdiivka, Ukrainian troops continue defense operations.

Use of chemical weapons by Russia
At the beginning of February, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that Russia carried out 815 chemical attacks against our defenders during a full-scale war.
Most often the enemy uses grenades, such as K-51, RGR, RG-Vo, containing a dangerous chemical substance CS, prohibited for warfare (combat) by paragraph 5 of Article 1 of the Chemical Weapons Convention.
As part of open criminal proceedings, documented cases of the use of dangerous chemicals are provided to investigative authorities for investigative actions.
