Marchenko on the situation in the Odessa region/Channel 24 collage
Maxim Marchenko, the head of the Odesa OVA, reported that the Russians had attacked the region with three missiles. One of them hit the bridge across the Dniester Estuary.
Another rocket fell nearby. Another third is in the water. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Marchenko stressed that by their actions the Russian occupiers are trying to cut off part of the Odessa region and create tension against the background of the events in Transnistria.
The enemy fired three missiles at the region. One of them hit the bridge because of the estuary. The other fell down nearby. And the third fell into the water. Thank God, there were no casualties,” Marchenko said.
The head of the OVA asked people not to succumb to any possible provocations of the Russians. The railroad is currently under restoration. The movement of vehicles across the bridge has already been resumed.
What is happening in Pridnestrovie
- The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that as of April 26, units of Russian troops in the so-called Pridnestrovie were brought into full combat readiness.
- In addition, there were a number of explosions. Ukrainian intelligence has already released evidence that this was a planned provocation by Russia.
