During February 23-24, Ukraine was preparing for provocations by the Russians. However, a massive missile attack never happened.
At the same time, the danger remains real. Thus, the ship grouping of the enemy in the Black Sea increased from 4 to 13 units. Among them are two submarine rocket carriers, which are equipped with 8 Kalibr-type missiles. This was reported to Channel 24 by the head of the Joint Press Center of the Security and Defense Forces of the South.
Deplete the nervous system
The fact is, the speaker recalled, that launches from submarine rocket carriers are more difficult to detect for Ukrainian air defense. It should be remembered that the threat has not gone away. According to Gumenyuk, the fact that the enemy was trying to keep us on our toes is completely understandable. We are in the conditions of a hybrid war, and information stuffing and operations play a very important role.
“This was applied, because the enemy does not have new combat tactics that would lead to victories, which is required by the military-political leadership of Russia,” the speaker noted.
Consequently, the invaders are looking for new ways to influence, testing and exhausting our nervous system.
“Panic should not be given, one should be aware of the level of threat, analyze the information provided and promptly respond to danger warning signals,” Natalya Gumenyuk emphasized.
New shelling tactics: what is known
- Russia is changing the tactics of shelling the territory of Ukraine. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine suggested that the new targets of the aggressor could be transport infrastructure or hydraulic structures.
- As the Major of the 103rd Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, deputy of the Lviv Regional Council Alexander Ganushchin noted, the enemy will focus on the railway tracks. The Russians are well aware that Western weapons will be delivered to us by rail.
- Ganushchin notes: we must also be prepared for the fact that hydroelectric power plants will become the next goals after the CHP.
