Russian military attacked Khmelnytsky region during a massive shelling of Ukraine. Three missiles of the occupiers hit a critical infrastructure facility.
Head of the Khmelnytsky OVA Sergey Gamaly said that Russia had fired 6 missiles on the territory of the Khmelnytsky region. It is reported that 3 missiles were shot down by air defense forces.
Air defense shot down 3 enemy missiles
Russian missiles were eliminated over Volochisk, Staroushytskaya and Polonskaya communities.
At the same time, 3 more missiles hit a critical infrastructure facility in Khmelnitsky. As a result, there was no power supply in Khmelnitsky and water supply was suspended.
Thanks to the prompt response of our services, power supply has already been partially restored. We plan that by the end of the day we will be able to fully restore the normal operation of all networks,” Gamaly said.
Russia fired more than 80 missiles
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that during the mass shelling, Russia used 84 cruise missiles and 24 drones, of which 13 are Iranian Shaheed-136.
Ukrainian air defense units managed to destroy 56 targets. Among them are 43 cruise missiles and 13 UAVs, of which 10 are of the kamikaze type.
The State Emergency Service reported that as a result of terrorist attacks, 11 people died, and another 64 were injured. The speaker of the State Emergency Service Svetlana Vodolaga confirmed the death of six people as a result of a rocket attack on Kyiv. It is also known about 50 victims.
