This was announced on the air of the telethon by the head of the Donetsk OVA Pavel Kirilenko. According to him, today, May 29, as of 19:00 in the Donetsk region, 2 people were killed and three more were injured as a result of enemy shelling. The enemy has not advanced in any direction and every effort is being made to prevent this from happening.

But the main task of our military is to recapture and increase the distance to the main cities – Slavyansk and Kramatorsk in the Limansky direction and Bakhmut from the Luhansk direction. Severodonetsk is also holding out, it is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Kirilenko said.

The situation in the Donetsk region

On the same day, due to constant rocket and artillery shelling, Slavyanskaya TPP stopped its work. During the day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to repel 8 enemy attacks.
