Russian invaders carry out offensive actions in the Lugansk region. At the same time, the Ukrainian defenders are trying to stop any attempts by the invaders to advance towards our positions.

Now heavy fighting continues in the Luhansk region. Military expert Oleg Zhdanov told Channel 24 about this.

Occupiers advanced in the Kremennaya area

The Ukrainian military has a sufficient number of forces and means. Under certain conditions, our fighters can carry out counterattacks in order to cut off the advancing Russian invaders.

Today, the Russians are actively involving several units of the occupying troops in offensive operations – in a division. However, the amount of the reserve that Russia has concentrated in this direction is very large and reaches the volume of three divisions.

Over the past week, the invaders have advanced near Kremennaya. In the forests around the city, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are sometimes forced to leave.

There are fights for every forest belt in the area. The enemy had partial success there. Today we are trying to stop the attempts of Russian troops to advance,” said a military expert.

Svatovy's situation is more controlled

At the same time, the situation around Svatovoy is more controlled. the Russian invaders are practically not advancing there, but are already beginning to increase their efforts.

“At Svatovoe, they have just begun offensive operations and in the future we will observe an increase in the intensity and number of troops participating in offensive operations,” the military expert noted .

Russian offensive in Luhansk region: what is known

• The Institute for the Study of War notes that the Russians launched an offensive in the Lugansk region. In fact, along the Svatovo-Kremennaya line in the west of the region, the activity of infidels increased noticeably during the week.
• As analysts noted, the Russian command attracted parts of several conventional divisions in offensive operations along the Svatovo-Kremennaya line.

< li>We are talking about units of several regiments of the 144th and 3rd motorized rifle divisions, a regiment of the 90th tank division, part of the 76th Airborne Division, as well as unidentified units of the Southern Military District.
