On January 18, Head of the National Police Igor Klymenko began acting as Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Now Ivan Vyhivsky will head the National Police instead of him.

The Cabinet of Ministers made a decision on the appointment of Ivan Vyhivsky on January 20. Previously, the policeman was the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv.
