Deputy Head of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Yegor Chernev said that the updated draft law on mobilization could be considered as early as next week.
He said this on the air of the One News telethon.
According to him, they want to invite representatives of the Ministry of Defense, who are the authors of the bill, to the committee meeting, because there are questions even about this version.

In particular, the Committee wants to hear how it is practically possible to receive a summons in the electronic account of a person liable for military service. In addition, there is the issue of the need to encourage men to care for people with disabilities.
At the same time, Chernev noted that it does not take very much time to process the draft law. Since the Committee has already read the first edition in detail, we now need to go through what has been changed.
— I hope that in one or two meetings we will go through this issue, and then we will make a decision on what to recommend to the session hall: either make it in the first decision, or perhaps, if there are alternative versions, finalize it in the Committee, make a committee bill and only then take it into the session hall, — the deputy said.
He suggested that this bill will pass the Committee this week.
Bill No. 10449
On the evening of January 30, the Cabinet of Ministers approved and submitted to the Verkhovna Rada the updated bill 10449 on military service, mobilization and military registration.
The document was a revision of the previous bill on mobilization No. 10378, which caused a lot of discussions and disagreements in Ukrainian society.
