The draft law on Lend-Lease for Ukraine appeared on the website of the US Congress Margarita Voloshina

A bill has been registered in the US Parliament that provides for the restoration of the lend-lease mechanism for Ukraine. Its creation was previously announced.

This was reported by Channel 24 with reference to the website of the US Congress and the publication of a member of the US House of Representatives Joe Wilson on the social network X.

What is known about it

The law, according to the title, will allow “to grant the president expanded powers to enter into agreements with the government of Ukraine for the lease or rental of defense goods to that government to protect civilians in Ukraine from Russian military invasion, as well as for other purposes.”

At the same time, the text of the document has not yet been made public. It is known that its initiator is a member of the House of Representatives from the Republican Party, Joe Wilson, who announced the day before that he would introduce the Freedom First Lend-Lease Act to Congress.

Joe Wilson himself has already responded to the registration of the above-mentioned draft law on his page in the social network X.
