Ukraine will receive the first artillery shells purchased under the Czech initiative for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in June of this year.

Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala in Prague noted that the first tens of thousands of 155 mm ammunition will be delivered in June, and Ukraine can expect the first batch in the coming days.
According to Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal, the Czech Republic has collected more than €1.6 billion for the purchase of artillery shells for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

A total of 15 member countries of the European Union and NATO have already allocated funds for the initiative launched by the Czech Republic to supply ammunition to Ukraine, Petr Fiala clarified.
At the same time, the Czech Prime Minister responded approvingly to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg's call to allow Ukraine to use Western weapons to attack Russian territory.
