The Czech Republic has given permission to Ukraine to organize its own production of CZ BREN 2 assault rifles, which will be called Sich.
The press service of the Czech Foreign Ministry reports this with reference to Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defense Daniel Blazkovec.
During the International Forum of Defense Industries in Kiev, Blazhkovets discussed joint projects and the possibility of expanding cooperation in the field of weapons with the Ukrainian side.

Among the main flagship projects — transfer of production of the Bren 2 Sich assault rifle from the CZUB company (Česká zbrojovka) or the production line of small-caliber ammunition from the Sellier&Bellot company.
At the same time, the Militarnyi portal indicates that Ukraine is probably already using CZ BREN 2 rifles at the front, which are an improved version of the previous generation weapon CZ-805 BREN.
“Several photos and videos of this weapon appeared on the Internet. It can be assumed that CZ BREN 2 is used mainly by power steering units, — the message says.

CZ BREN 2 rifle — This is an assault weapon that operates on gas-operated automatics. Among the advantages of the rifle is a quick-change barrel, which allows you to quickly adjust both the length and caliber of the weapon.
The receiver of the CZ BREN 2 is made of aluminum alloy, while the rest of the rifle — made of plastic.
Recall that President Vladimir Zelensky, during a speech at the first International Forum of Defense Industries in Kiev, said that Ukraine has already begun the production of guns and shells according to NATO standards for use in battlefield.
The Cabinet of Ministers submitted a bill proposing that military personal income tax — tax that the government pays for the military, — will be used for the purchase of equipment and its own production of weapons.
