The artificial spread of the PVK Redan subculture is an attempt by Russian propagandists to conduct another information and psychological operation in order to involve children in illegal activities, the police said.
It is noted that the goal of the organizers of the youth meeting was to provoke conflicts and mass fights between teenagers. However, the police prevented the realization of these criminal plans.
The results of the work of law enforcement officers
In general, about 30 youth meetings took place in different regions of the state within two days.
According to the head of the juvenile prevention department of the National Police of Ukraine Vasyl Bogdan, more than 700 people were invited to the police departments, most of whom were minors. Currently, preventive measures are being taken with them and their parents.

What is known about PPK “Redan”
- The subculture of the PPK “Redan” is an aggressive youth subculture engaged in mass fights. The movement originated in Russia, where teenagers rioted in malls.
- On February 27, the movement began to be massively popularized in Ukraine, in particular, groups appeared on telegram channels where they called on teenagers to fight.
- Yesterday, the first skirmishes took place: the police dispersed the teenagers in Poltava, Dnipro, Kharkov and Ivano-Frankivsk.
- In Kyiv. In Odessa and Lvov, the young men also tried to arrange mass fights, but law enforcement officers quickly responded and prevented possible clashes.
