The official report states that the helicopter collided with a tripwire of the television tower of the TV and Radio Company “Vizit”. After hitting an obstacle, the helicopter fell to the ground 146 meters from the point of impact, breaking the wires of the power line near the TV tower.

This incident became possible because the pilots had the wrong coordinates for this TV tower, so they simply did not know where it was located. In addition, they could not see the structure due to bad weather conditions – that is, fog.

On September 29, 2017, an L-39 aircraft of the Air Force crashed in the village of Beregheli, Khmelnitsky region. After some time, it became known that there were two pilots on board – they died.

Then, the law enforcement officers first established that during the training flight the aircraft lost contact in the Starokonstantinov area, after which it fell and crashed. In addition, criminal proceedings were opened – there was a suspicion that the pilots had violated the rules for operating the aircraft.
