On the same day, the Pechersk court of Kyiv chose a preventive measure for the people's deputy from the banned OPZZH — 60 days of arrest without the possibility of bail. Later the preventive measure was extended.
According to the investigation, Shufrych closely collaborated and carried out tasks of the ex-secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Vladimir Sivkovich — agent of the Russian FSB. One of the people's deputy's main tasks was to disseminate Kremlin narratives.
