Ukraine received a significant amount of armored vehicles from different countries. It will help the Armed Forces of Ukraine carry out the offensive more rapidly.
This Channel 24 was told by Defense Express military expert Ivan Kirichevsky. But the decision to transfer tanks to Ukraine has not yet been made, so the Germans protested, demanding to give them and end the war.
Armored vehicles for the offensive
Kirichevsky noted that the Western partners handed over armored vehicles to us. If we talk about new from the factory, then these are Swedish Archer self-propelled guns. However, in general, each of the samples corresponds to modern concepts of warfare. In particular, armored vehicles and guided missiles are needed in the first echelon of the offensive to paralyze the enemy's defenses.
Our offensive will develop more rapidly. The more such vehicles capable of providing a fire maneuver, the faster troops will be delivered to one or another sector of the front. On the other hand, how modern this technique is in combat practice will be seen during practical combat operations, – said the Defense Express military expert.
He added that, for example, the British AS-90 self-propelled guns are considered obsolete, worse than the Polish Krab. However, it is possible that in battle, if used correctly, it will show itself better than, for example, the Soviet Gvozdika or Akatsiya.

Stryker APC
According to the Defense Express military expert, the Americans handed over the Stryker armored personnel carrier to us. They are of different upgrades, but, perhaps, it is good that they did not give us copies with a 105-mm cannon. There is a small amount of ammunition for 30 rounds, and the practice of military operations has shown that the gun often jams.
“I think that we will get a classic version of the Stryker for the linear units, where either a 27-mm machine gun is armed, or 40 -mm automatic grenade launcher. Moreover, we have more than enough 40-mm US automatic grenade launchers, respectively, it is logistically better for us to install the classic version of Stryker, “Kirichevsky emphasized.
