Recently, a new mural “Saint Javelina” has appeared in Kyiv. It depicts the Mother of God from the “Javelin” PPRK.
However, there is a possibility that it may be sketched. All because of the protest of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations.

The All-Ukrainian Council of Churches sent its protest against the “Saint Javelina” mural to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko.

The Rada emphasized that this mural had already begun to be painted on the house at 13 Aviakonstruktor Antonov Street in the Solomensky district of Kyiv without due public discussion.

It allegedly shows the Mother of God holding the FGM-148 Javelin portable anti-tank missile system, which is used to stop Russian aggression.
According to religious figures, they, the faithful people of Ukraine, express categorical disapproval. They also added that they protest against expressions of public pseudo-art that use religious feelings and symbols as an object of parody.

The Javelin Holidays meme has become known not only in Ukraine, but also abroad. The creation of the mural was sponsored by the Canadian-Ukrainian brand Saint Javelin. And the creative team of four Kailas-V artists was involved in the creation.
