Militants in the territory of Pridnestrovie are not able to harm the Armed Forces of Ukraine/Collage of 24 channels

Attempts to destabilize Transnistria look like Russia's attempt to draw third countries into the war. Yesterday, a meeting of the negotiating group took place on the territory of the right bank of Moldova and, apparently, they discussed security issues.

This was stated by former Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration of Moldova Alexandru Flenchia on Channel 24. According to the politician, such attempts from Moscow worry both Chisinau and Tiraspol.

Will Moldova enter the war

Obviously nobody wants war. The Russian contingent in Pridnestrovie reaches 1,500 people, and besides, these are not exactly Russians, but locals with Russian passports, Flenkya is convinced.

The ex-deputy prime minister convinces that for the “army of Transnistria” contract service in the Russian army is just a job. They don't want to fight, most of their relatives or friends are in Ukraine.

There are about 10 Russians themselves there – these are colonels leading the “army”. There is also a Pridnestrovian army, but these are also local and they don’t need a war in Ukraine at all, – Alexander Flenka notes. p>It should be understood that Transnistria is a business project for its “leaders”, it is very convenient for them to receive free Russian gas and money, but no one wants to fight there – they are not interested.

The Russian army, in the amount on the territory of Transnistria, in which it exists, can threaten Moldova, but not the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Flenca assures.

Recall that the provocations in Transnistria have become a loud signal about Russia's attempt to draw the region into a war against Ukraine. The Israeli Foreign Ministry recommended that its citizens leave Transnistria and not travel there in the near future. The German Foreign Ministry also made a similar statement.
