In Severodonetsk, Luhansk region, the situation remains difficult, because heavy fighting is going on there. At the same time, it is this city that is now playing a blocking role for the offensive of the Russian invaders.
This was told to Channel 24 by the military-political observer of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko. Severodonetsk allows you to take the most advantageous defensive position in the area of the industrial zone, which was made by the Ukrainian military.
At the same time, they used urban areas with rather dense buildings to destroy as many Russian occupiers as possible, not adapted specifically for fighting in the city.

Severodonetsk is the city that now plays a blocking role for the advance of the Russian occupiers.
At the same time, Kovalenko does not rule out that the Armed Forces of Ukraine may move away from Severodonetsk towards Lysichansk in order to save the lives of our servicemen and take up more advantageous defensive positions.
The observer noted that now we see a situation where the city is being destroyed by the artillery of the occupiers, who have an advantage in the number of both cannon artillery and rocket artillery in this direction.
“In the future, I believe that if there is not enough serious fire support for our group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are located in the industrial zone and from time to time destroy Russian invaders in the city, then their stay will be quite risky,” Kovalenko said.
