Although the Russian authorities do not confirm information about the accident, however the disconnection of a large number of consumers from the Rostov NPP did not just happen. There may be a real problem there, which will likely lead to very serious consequences.

This will already provoke a problem with the North Caucasus. An accident at the Rostov nuclear power plant could have catastrophic consequences for the border area with Ukraine – these are five Russian regions. There are several nuclear power plants located on their territory, and anything can happen there, because there are military operations nearby,” noted Roman Svitan.

Therefore, according to him, the Russians have in the future there may be certain problems that will put pressure on the military-political leadership of Russia.
