The chicken will grow a third head, – Svitan about the consequences of the accident at the Rostov nuclear power plant Victoria Grabovskaya

In Russian publics on July 19 Information has appeared that an emergency release of radioactive water allegedly occurred at the Rostov Nuclear Power Plant, which could not be contained. It was also reported that the radiation cloud is moving deeper into Russia.

Instructor pilot, military expert, reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Svitan told 24 Channel that in the event of an accident at the Rostov Nuclear Power Plant, air masses will move deeper into Russian territory. This is a certain limit for Russians on the use of nuclear weapons in particular.

The consequences may increase

Although the Russian authorities do not confirm information about the accident, however the disconnection of a large number of consumers from the Rostov NPP did not just happen. There may be a real problem there, which will likely lead to very serious consequences.

Regarding the confirmation by the Russian authorities of the accident at the Rostov nuclear power plant, it will only be then, when the two-headed chicken depicted on their coat of arms grows a third head, the military expert suggested.

At the same time, the Russian authorities could blame Ukraine for the accident, but the Kremlin is afraid to focus on this topic. It is not yet clear what scale of the problem exists at the Rostov NPP. The consequences of the accident may increase, and then there will be no time for the “Ukrainian trace”. This will already provoke a problem with the North Caucasus. An accident at the Rostov nuclear power plant could have catastrophic consequences for the border area with Ukraine – these are five Russian regions. There are several nuclear power plants located on their territory, and anything can happen there, because there are military operations nearby,” noted Roman Svitan.

Therefore, according to him, the Russians have in the future there may be certain problems that will put pressure on the military-political leadership of Russia.

Let us recall that in the GUR noted that they are closely following information about a possible accident at the Rostov NPP and checking it. However, this data must be “divided into several orders of magnitude.” It is also known that Russia is a closed state and can suppress information about man-made problems.
