The Court of Appeal of Kropyvnytskyi on July 15 changed the preventive measure for the former intelligence officer and acting. O. the commander of one of the MTR units, Roman Chervinsky, and allowed him to be released on bail of 9 million UAH.

According to the lawyers, the hearing of the case lasted seven hours. At the same time, 27 people’s deputies and 51 more people expressed a desire to bail Chervinsky.
He will be in custody until bail is posted, but this preventive measure is only valid until August 4, 2024.
In April 2023, the SBU detained Chervinsky and reported suspicion of abuse of power during a failed and uncoordinated “special operation” to kidnap a Russian plane.
In fact, those who planned the “special operation” acted as “gunners” of the shelling of the Kanatovo airfield in the Kirovograd region in July 2022.
Before his arrest, Chervinsky hid from the investigation for 8 months, tried to escape, but was detained. The court chose a preventive measure for him in the form of detention.
