Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko commented on yesterday's shelling of residential buildings in the capital. Fortunately, there were no deaths, but four people were hospitalized.
He announced this in his telegram channel and attached a video with an appeal. Klitschko noted that Kyiv continues to be under the gun of the enemy.
Rescuers of the State Emergency Service dismantled the rubble in a multi-storey building in the Shevchenkovsky district of Kyiv. The house is new and still sparsely populated, so few apartments were occupied in it.
What is known about the victims
Fortunately, there were no fatalities in the airstrike. However, 10 people were injured, 4 of them were hospitalized.
State Emergency Service spokeswoman Svetlana Vodolaga said that all the victims were taken to the hospital in a moderate condition. She also urged not to neglect the air raid warnings, since compliance with the air raid rules can save lives.
In total, 435 civilians have been injured in the capital since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukrainian territory. Unfortunately, just over one hundred residents of Kyiv died, including 4 children.
