Financing the defense of Ukraine
In January, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to allocate 792 million UAH from the state budget reserve fund to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capability.
The funds will go to units for very urgent needs. For example, the purchase of ammunition, thermal imagers and drones.
Previously, Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal reported that the key task of the Ukrainian government for 2024 is to increase its own military production. An increase of six times is expected.
