The volunteer told how he saved the composer Poklad/Photo from Svetlana Poklad's Facebook
Composer Igor Poklad spent several days in the basement of his house in Vorzel, Kiev region, together with his wife Svetlana, mother-in-law and two dogs. When this became known, it was decided that it was necessary to go there.
Volunteer Konstantin Gudauskas, who saved the composer's family in March, spoke about this on the air of Channel 24.

According to Gudauskas, from a Facebook post by journalist Dmitry Gordon, he learned that Dmitry Poklad was in the basement of his house in Vorzel.
We all know who Poklal is, we know his works, which sound far beyond the borders of Ukraine and delight us all. I decided that I simply had to go there,” said the volunteer.
He did not know how to get to Vorzel, because he had never been there before. So the day before, the volunteer spent the whole evening drawing routes.
“When I arrived, Buryats were standing there. There were 3 checkpoints at the first checkpoint. I said that there are elderly people here, these are my relatives and I want them I had to lie, may God forgive me for that. They looked, took my phone, which they broke and missed,” he said.
After Gudauskas entered the territory of Vorzel, thanks to the drawn map, he managed to find the necessary house. He walked around the house for a long time, knocking on all the doors, and finally his wife Svetlana opened it.
I saw Igor Dmitrievich. We quickly got into the car, loaded several of their dogs and left Vorzel,” the volunteer noted.

The very next morning, when the Ukrainians learned about this story, the volunteer received more than 3 thousands of messages on Facebook with requests to evacuate other people from Vorzel.
“Svetlana (Poklad's wife – Channel 24) from that moment began to collect humanitarian aid and information, one might say around the clock. We worked all this time, helping people,” said Gudauskas.
The volunteer added that since that time, 178 people have already been rescued from Vorzel.
