Bulgaria has found ways not to be left without gas/Sputnik
At the end of April, Bulgaria stopped deliveries of Russian gas. Now the Deputy Prime Minister said that the country will be able to provide blue fuel to avoid its shortage even in winter.
Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister Assen Vasiliev announced the corresponding statement after Gazprom blocked the flow of blue fuel to Bulgaria. Consequently, the country has already found ways to provide itself with gas, because almost all of them received from Russia.
90% of gas to Bulgaria came from Russia
It is known that annually Bulgaria consumes about 3 billion cubic meters of gas. 90% of them come from the aggressor country.
We can completely replace Russian gas supplies with gas supplies from the Southern Gas Corridor, as well as LNG supplies to Greece and Turkey, and this plan is being implemented right now, Vasilyev said.
He subsequently had negotiations with EU officials. After them, Assen added that there would be no problems with gas in the country even in winter.
The Deputy Prime Minister added that the dollars with which Bulgaria planned to pay Gazprom for April gas supplies, returned. Consequently, official Sofia does not even try to somehow resolve the problem.
