This time, Zelensky received the award from the foundation of Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov. The award is given every year, our president received it for courage.

We give the award not for the past and not the future. We give an award for what a person has done here and now this year,” Nemtsova explained.
According to her, it was here and now that Vladimir Zelensky stayed in Kyiv and decided to defend his Motherland together with his people.

As explained, from the first day of a full-scale invasion, Zelensky and his family became targets for the assassination of Russian troops.
