On May 20, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed the House of Culture in Lozova, Kharkiv region, with a missile attack. As a result of the shelling, 8 people were injured, some of whom are still in the hospital.

Yury Kushnir, secretary of the Lozovy City Council, spoke about the consequences of the strike on the House of Culture on the air of the Rada channel. There was one child among the eight injured.
Yury Kushnir said that as of May 21, the number of wounded had not increased. According to him, the victims are in a stable condition.
It is reported that some people were allowed to return home, the rest are under medical supervision.

Yury Kushnir said that as a result of a missile attack on the House of Culture, damage is very significant. He said that the removal of the rubble has not yet begun.
Kushnir noted that, according to the preliminary conclusions of experts, the House of Culture can be restored. However, this will cost 1 billion hryvnia.
The Russian military destroyed the House of Culture in Lozova: what is known
- On May 21, at about 15:00, the Russian armed forces launched a missile attack on the center of Lozova in the Kharkiv region. Among the victims was an 11-year-old girl.
- The head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleg Sinegubov, said that two enemy missiles were repulsed. And one, unfortunately, hit.
- As a result of the explosion, nearby high-rise buildings were damaged. Sinegubov expressed his conviction that the Russian invaders deliberately aimed at the House of Culture.
What is the situation in the Kharkiv region
In early May, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a counteroffensive in the Kharkiv direction. It was reported that since May 5, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already managed to liberate almost 23 cities and villages.
On May 19, Oleg Sinegubov informed that about 25% of the territory of the Kharkiv region is still occupied. According to preliminary data, the Russians in the Kharkiv direction are concentrating their forces on holding positions.
