September 21in the evening in Sevastopol, locals heard the sounds of explosions in the area of Gorpishchenko Street, as well as the Balaklava district. The city's occupation authorities did not comment on the explosion. Therefore, it is still not known what exactly happened.

September 21The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Ukrainian Armed Forces, carried out a large-scale attack on the Saki military airfield, not far from Yevpatoria. At that time, at the airfield there were at least 12 combat aircraft (Su-24 and Su-30), as well as Pantsir MANPADS.

Also at this airfield there was a training base for Mojaher attack drone operators.

Local residents reported explosions in the area of Sevastopol and Inkerman. And Russian governor Mikhail Razvozhaev said that in the area of the village of Kacha and the village of Verkhnesadovoye, Russian air defense allegedly shot down Ukrainian drones.

How Ukraine managed to deliver powerful blows to the occupiers in Crimea

The head of the Center for Military Legal Research, Alexander Musienko, believes that it was the painstaking work of the Ukrainian special services and military that helped deliver such crushing blows to enemy ships and the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.< /p>

— The Ukrainian military conducted a thorough reconnaissance to find out about the location of Russian air defense systems, their ranges, to find corridors along which these air defenses could be bypassed and strikes, in particular against the S-400 radars in the western part of the occupied peninsula, — the expert said.

Russian air defense has become vulnerable due to the correct strategy of the Ukrainian troops in the use of weapons, in particular reconnaissance and attack drones. The latter, for example, took upon themselves the function of deceiving and defeating enemy air defenses.

Earlier, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin gave instructions to strengthen the security of the Kerch Bridge, or occupied Crimea in general. But it didn't help.

The expert believes that it is unlikely that the Russians will be able to take measures that would significantly strengthen the defense of the occupied peninsula.

Two strategies for Ukrainian strikes

Alexander Musienko believes that Ukrainian strikes against enemies in Crimea are aimed at:

  • to establish the dominance of Ukraine in the north-western waters of the Black Sea and therefore attacks are carried out on ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet;
  • attacks on logistics and facilities that feed enemy groups on the southern front in Ukraine.

The expert believes that Ukrainians will see even more attacks on Russian warehouses, oil depots, airfields, equipment accumulations, and the like .

— I think that our group of troops in the Melitopol direction will also feel the positive effect of these strikes, — the expert noted.

The Atesh partisan movement informs that the occupiers are looking for temporary locations for their military, because they fear new attacks on targets in Crimea. For example, the command of the Sevastopol Nakhimov Military School evicts cadets from the barracks at night. They are looking for places for them in hostels and hotels. The situation is similar in other military units of the occupied peninsula.

It is worth noting that the destruction of military equipment and ammunition depots will not 100% deprive the occupiers of the means of warfare, because for now they have alternative routes, for example, from the east. But the Russians will definitely have big problems.
