Russia is trying to achieve a complete blackout with massive attacks on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine. At the same time, Russian power engineers are helping the Russian military.
Alexander Kharchenko, director of the Center for Energy Research, said this at a briefing. He stressed that the shelling of Ukraine's critical infrastructure has a humanitarian aspect.
The attack on the energy system of Ukraine was planned by Russian power engineers
This is a purely humanitarian aspect. This is an absolute act of terrorism. It is not aimed at any military purposes. This is a terrorist act planned with the help of competent Russian power engineers, the purpose of which is to exclude the energy system in Ukraine,” Kharchenko commented on the mass attacks of the Russians.
According to an adviser to the Minister of Energy, the Russians are trying to achieve a complete blackout in Ukraine. “This is an absolutely transparent situation and what purpose is clear here. This is pure terrorism,” he added.
The expert said that since World War II, this is the biggest infrastructure attack in the history of mankind. He noted that during the Second World War there was no such infrastructure anywhere.
“This biggest attack in the history of mankind makes us understand for the first time in the history of mankind where the edge of the fortress is. We haven't found it yet,” Oleksandr Kharchenko stressed and added that there is still a reserve in Ukraine.
