US presidential candidate Donald Trump, in the context of President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to New York, made a rather cynical and outrageous statement about him. He called Zelensky “the best salesman in history.”

Supposedly, after each visit to the United States, the Ukrainian president returns “with $60 billion,” writes Bloomberg.

“I think Zelensky is the biggest salesman in history: Every time he comes to the country, he comes with $60 billion,” Trump said.

He added that Zelensky allegedly “badly” wanted his Democratic opponent Kamala Harris to win the election.

Trump goes on to make promises to end the war

But Trump said that will do differently: he will work to “achieve peace” and promised to “push” Ukraine and Russia to negotiate if he wins.

“If I win this election, the first thing I will do is call Zelensky and President Putin and say, 'You have to make a deal, this is crazy,'” Trump said.

As you know, the former US president and now presidential candidate has repeatedly promised to quickly stop the war in Ukraine after winning the election. According to him, he knows both Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky very well.
