This was told to Channel 24 by the head of the telegram channel “Belarusian Gayun” Anton Motolko. According to him, while they do not have a single fact or document that could confirm this information.
Today we first heard this information from Ukraine. I think if 13 thousand Belarusians really signed something and fought, then someone would tell us about it. We cannot confirm the information. There is no fact, Motolko noted.
Belarusians are not interested in fighting against Ukraine
According to him, Belarusians are not interested in fighting against Ukraine at all. Referring to his own data, he emphasizes that even Lukashenka's fans do not support the participation of Belarusians in the war. These people may be for Russia, but they believe that the Belarusians themselves should not fight.
The local military is also not interested in hostilities. They have very different priorities.
The military themselves are not ready to fight against Ukraine. They do not see in this sense. After all, they work for a quick pension and easier getting an apartment. The society does not accept this idea, Anton Motolko notes.
He suggests that there are options for Belarusians to go as mercenaries for a monetary reward. However, this phenomenon is definitely not widespread. Yes, and it does not specifically apply to the Belarusian army, because the invaders recruit people from different countries.

Recall that recently the Deputy Chief of the Chief Aleksey Gromov, head of the operational department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that about 13,000 Belarusians are fighting on the side of the Russian occupiers. The main motivation of such mercenaries is money. Other mercenaries arrive there at the training grounds in Belarus – from Syria, Laos, Mali, Uzbekistan, etc.
In addition, he believes that before the Independence Day of Ukraine, the occupiers can arrange provocations at the Belarusian training ground in order to demonize the Armed Forces of Ukraine and drag Belarus into the war.
