The Ukrainian national football team yesterday began its preparatory training camp in Gdansk, Poland, for the decisive match against the Italian team in the Euro 2024 qualification.
Head coach of the blue-yellows Sergei Rebrov called this training camp the most important training camp of the year.
— The beginning of the last and most important gathering of the year. It’s time to carefully prepare together for the decisive match against Italy,” Rebrov wrote on his page on the social network Instagram.
On Monday, November 13, the blue-yellows, with a small squad of mostly foreign players, held a training session at the old Lechia arena.
Nine players took part in the training on the field, who played their matches no later than Saturday, as well as Yegor Nazarina, who did not take part in the Sunday match against Shakhtar. The rest of the collections worked in the gym.
