The battles for Marinka continue, there is no threat of encirclement or complete capture of the city by the invaders.
This was announced by the speaker of the joint press center of the Tauride Defense Forces, Colonel Alexander Shtupun on the air of the One News telethon.
— The fighting for Marinka continues; now our military personnel are within the administrative boundaries of Marinka. But the city was completely destroyed, however, it is incorrect to talk about the complete capture of Marinka, — he said.
In addition, Shtupun noted that in the Avdiivka direction the Ukrainian military is steadfastly holding the defense, but the threat of encirclement and breakthrough remains.

— But we are pulling up reserves, reformatting, we are inflicting losses on the enemy. Every day he loses 300-400 people there dead and wounded and a lot of military equipment. Therefore, now we cannot talk about a real threat of encirclement of Marinka, — he added.
According to him, the enemy is trying to close the holes and bring up reserves of equipment, but it is no longer new, not of the same quality as it was.
— Now there may be a convoy in which the T-90M Proryv, a fairly new Russian vehicle, is traveling, and next to it is a T-62 or some kind of infantry fighting vehicle that is 60 years old. The enemy regularly recruits personnel, — noted Shtupun.
We recall that the occupiers had previously stated that Marinka had allegedly been taken, but this, according to the commander of the operational-strategic group of troops Tavriy Alexander Tarnavsky, there was another provocation on the part of the Russian Federation.
